LYNCH FUND OFFERS GO CONNECT $30,000 IN GRANTS!
Donations received before June 30, 2018 are doubled
The Community Foundation of SW Washington and the Ed and Dollie Lynch fund has provided Go Connect a $30,000 grant in support of the organizations SafePark program in Clark County. The challenge grant is designed to spur on sustainable support of the SafePark program and to help us to expand to serve more people who are living in their vehicles. They granted Go Connect $15,000 to help fund SafePark and have offered another $15,000 challenge.
Go Connect has been serving the community since 2007 with an intentional focus on helping local faith communities address poverty in healthy ways. Our latest program called SafePark was initiated 3 years ago through a local collaboration. Since the program’s inception, we have served 7 churches and 312 people. 82 of the 312 people we have served are now in permanent housing, that is a staggering 26%. Currently, we are serving 52 people, that is the most people we have served at one time.
With your help, we can serve more individuals, couples, and families by expanding the SafePark program to high need areas in Clark County.
