What is Go Connect?

Go Connect is dedicated to raising the banner of the Great Commission in hopes that every Christ follower will discover their roles in discipling the nations; whether that be as a goer, sender, giver, pray-er, mobilizer or networker. And now, with a growing cultural gap between believers and non-believers, and numerous immigrants and refugees living in our cities, missionary work is not just overseas, but all around us ... calling on every believer to cross barriers of understanding and acceptance previous generations rarely had to cross. As you further peruse this web site you'll find a growing body of information, inspiration, tutorials, opportunity listings, vision casting, training and networking services providing just the right mobilization and networking assistance you need.

Casting and Servicing the Vision

GO Connect serves the Christian community by: 1) casting vision and calling forth intercessors to pray strategically for their cities, 2) providing training to activate individuals in mission, 3) offering local missional experiences to groups within churches, 4) offering various services to citywide mobilizer/networkers, 5) providing missions vision, information and inspiration to any member of the Body of Christ wanting to grow in their World Christian Discipleship, and 6) serving mission-related ministries and providing links to their web sites, services and resources.

A Variety of Services and Resources
  • LOCAL MISSION PLUNGE OPPORTUNITIES - We offer a comprehensive and local missional outreach model for any group to take advantage of. All the details are taken care of - just bring your group, serve and prepare to be stretched!
  • NEIGHBORHOOD MISSIONARY TRAINING - GO Connect trains small groups and individuals in how to act like a missionary right where they live and work.
  • CITYWIDE WEB PAGES, consultation, communications and web services for over 240 cities - now including the option of setting up "wiki" intranet sites for both network leadership teams and for their networks.
  • NETWORKING with everyone serving as a neighborhood missionary, with city-wide conferences, other mobilizers and networking ministries to see where we can help each other and work together in synergistic cooperation, city-by-city.
  • AN ANNOTATED MISSIONS DIRECTORY of missions ministries, resources, opportunities, e-zines, blogs, news sources and event calendars (helping churches and individuals to find "everything missions" in one place.
